Habito’s We’ll Pay Your Rent Prize Draw
Terms & Conditions

The Prize Draw is a one-off free prize draw, which you may enter if you are eligible.

You only have to enter the Prize Draw once to be eligible for the Prize Draw.

You can enter the Prize Draw on Habito's official Instagram account by following us on Instagram, commenting and tagging a friend of yours on the Prize Draw post.

You can also share Habito’s Prize Draw post to your Instagram story, making sure to tag our official Instagram account, for an extra entry in the Prize Draw.

By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to these T&Cs.

The prize for the one-off draw is the payment of the winner’s exact monthly rental amount up to a cap of £2,500 into the winner’s nominated bank account.

You will be eligible to enter the Prize Draw if you:

Follow our official Instagram account;

are resident in the UK and the property on which your tenancy agreement is secured is in the UK; and

have entered the Prize Draw and agreed to these T&Cs.

You won’t be eligible for the Prize Draw if you:

are an employee or contractor of Habito or if any other person named on your tenancy agreement is an employee or consultant of Habito;

are an employee or contractor of agents or suppliers of Habito who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration;

are an employee or contractor of agents or suppliers of Habito who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration;

are found or have been found guilty of fraud; or

If you become an employee of Habito after you have entered the Prize Draw, you won’t be eligible for any of the Prize Draws but you can enter again if you later stop being employed at Habito.

In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw. 

We reserve all rights to disqualify you from the Prize Draw if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.

We’re not responsible if we inadvertently pay a prize to an entrant who doesn’t qualify, but we’ll take reasonable steps to make sure this doesn't happen. 

Where we discover such an error has happened, the entrant inadvertently paid must repay the prize to us and we reserve the right to demand repayment of the prize from the entrant inadvertently paid. 

Once we have received the prize money from the entrant inadvertently paid, we will subsequently pay the prize to the next eligible entrant we randomly select.

If you win the Prize Draw, we have the right to ask you to provide supporting evidence of your monthly rental amount, such as recent bank statements or a tenancy agreement. 

If you enter the Prize Draw but subsequently unfollow our Habito official Instagram account, we won’t include you in the Prize Draw. 

The tenancy agreement you hold must be held in your name or by you and your joint tenancy holder(s).

We can only pay you the rental amount for which you can provide sufficient evidence (3 months of bank statements). 

If you are selected as a winner in a Prize Draw, your rental amount will be paid directly into a bank account nominated by you and held in your name.

If you hold more than one tenancy agreement, we will only make one monthly rental payment for the tenancy which has the highest monthly rental payment, subject in all cases to the cap of £2,500.

The Prize Draw is free to enter. 

We will pick a winner randomly from the qualifying entrants on 25th April 2022. Entrants who qualify to take part have an equal chance of winning.

All prizes in the Prize Draw are non-negotiable or transferable.

If you win the Prize Draw, we will let you know as soon as practicable after the relevant announcement date using the Instagram account associated with your comment on the prize draw post on Habito’s official Instagram account. 

If you win, we’ll tell you what information we may need from you before your monthly rental amount will be paid.

If you win, we may ask you to take part in publicity, such as publishing your name on Habito’s official Instagram account, or taking part in an interview which we publish on our social media channels. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. 

Unless we publish the Prize Draw winner on Habito’s official Instagram account, any Prize Draw entrant may request your last name and country of residence as the prize winner by emailing us at hey@habito.com. 

By entering the Prize Draw, you give us permission to make your last name and country of residence available in this way if you win. If you object to your surname and country of residence being published or made available, please contact Habito at hey@habito.com. In such circumstances, Habito must still provide the information in relation to the winner and the prize Draw to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

You will have 30 days from the date we contact you to claim your prize. If we don’t hear from you and you do not claim your prize by this date, you will no longer be entitled to the prize.

We will make all reasonable efforts to contact you if you have won. If you cannot be contacted (for instance because your email address is  not accurate), or you have not claimed your prize within 30 days of the announcement date, we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Prize Draw entrant selected from the entries that were received before the Prize Draw closing date. 

We do not accept any responsibility if you are unable to take up the prize.

This Prize Draw is operated and run by Hey Habito Limited, a company registered under the laws of England & Wales whose registered address is Throgmorton UK Ltd Reading, 4th Floor, Reading Bridge House, George Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 8LS. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under registration number 714187.

If we can’t carry out the Prize Draw on the scheduled date and time, and it isn’t cancelled under these T&Cs, it will take place as soon as reasonably possible afterwards.

We won’t be responsible to any eligible entrant if a Prize Draw cannot go ahead or is delayed or cancelled for any reason.

Our decision with regard to the process of administering the Prize Draw, and selection of a winner, is final and absolute.

We can cancel any of the Prize Draws or stop running the Prize Draw entirely without telling you beforehand, however we will let you know by putting a notice on Habito’s official Instagram account.

We may use your name and the personal information which you provide to us in entering the Prize Draw for the purposes of the Prize Draw and as described in these T&Cs. We will process and store your information in accordance with our privacy policy.

If there’s a disagreement about these T&Cs, we hope you’ll let us know so that we can try and resolve the issue. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and only the courts in England and Wales can resolve any legal disputes.
